Princess Cays, Bahamas

We got here at about 10:30 this morning. The Mariner left well before us last night, as you could see in yesterday’s picture. It was here waiting when we arrived. They did the same shtick as previous years. They played this beautiful music while the two ships circled one another and people hollered up and back.

At about noon we tendered over to the island. I guess that means we were tenderized. Ha, ha. That was a good one. Huh! It was pretty choppy today and we were getting pretty well rocked. Rocked and tenderized. Enough of that. This place was by far the largest. There had to be nice chaises for at least 5,000. The shade was provided by real growing palm trees. The sand was the real soft white stuff. There was a wide path made of large patio blocks that had to extend for six or eight blocks. There were various buildings by the dozen. From stores to washrooms to party rooms and you name it. I think there were four buffet lines serving lunch. Both ships were using the island at once.

This was now the world cruise for our ship and the around South America cruise for the other ship. The quality of food went up another notch or two. Along with the hamburgers, hotdogs, and ribs, etc., there was lobster tail and plenty of it and they were good. But it was only about 74 degrees out and too cool for most to go in the beautiful clear water.

At about 3:30 the two ships were supposed to leave and travel together for some time while playing the great music across from our ship to the other. The sound is amazing as it echoes back off the other ship. However some broad has not shown up on the other ship and they are on the loud speakers telling her to get her rear end to their desk or our boat ramp. They must have found her because they did start to cruise alongside the other ship and did so for many hours.

Suddenly a helicopter showed up and started circling the ships. We were informed it was a film shoot for commercials.

Pam wrote again:

Any particular reason your dog likes to sleep with his butt in my face? Should I take this as a compliment? A sign of affection? Or, is he giving me a subconscious message? Haha!

He's been having a blast these past two days. Yesterday Chica, Benson and Kadu came over.

And today, Teddy and Lucky joined the crowd.

He was romping all over the yard and in the bedroom with them playing -- wrestling on the bed. Too cute!

Hope you are enjoying your vacation!

Pamela

Dear Pam,

I don’t know how to break this to you any more gently. Spike is trying to let you know he thinks you should change your mouth wash. Ha, ha. Just kidding. That was just a joke. Actually, he does that to Bobbi quite often. She just thought all dogs do that. Thanks for straightening that out for us. Just a weird dog I guess.

Still Your Friend (I hope)

Sherman
