This is a sea day. Nothing much to report. The butler brought the usual canapés tonight except it was good caviar. The gillion dollars a pound stuff. Two little bowls of it with all the condiments. That had to cost them over 35 cents.

At the last minute I decided I wanted to go to Latitudes for dinner. That's the Indochina restaurant that requires reservations, usually quite a while in advance because it is small. At breakfast I walked up to the restaurant manager and said I wanted to eat there tonight. She said okay. I don't know why but all through the dinner the manager kept coming and asking if everything was okay, if the service help was okay. I did not see them doing this to anyone else. Then just before dessert she brings over the chef to introduce him. Bobbi asks for the recipe for the spicy lemon pumpkin soup and he says he will send it to our cabin and tells us all the ingredients. Perhaps we have been mistaken for someone else but they treat us like royalty. I know there are others aboard taking the world cruise also. I don't see anyone getting all the attention. Maybe they caught us stealing the silverware and are just keeping an eye on us?

The entertainment in the main lounge was something very different. Something seen far more often in Europe. A puppeteer. This guy was fantastic. Of his several characters, one was obviously Bette Midler. My favorite was a shaggy little dog. He made this dog look real. The ears would move around and the tongue would come out. It would sit and scratch itself. It made movements just like a frisky little dog would.

That's about it.
