MONTE CARLO, MONACO

This morning we took a bus tour that was just a ride through the area. Monaco is just two square kilometers and most of that is straight up and down. There are three or four levels of roads. We went up switch backs and turn abouts from the bottom to the top. The buildings and scenery is breath taking. Everything looks like it was just a painting from a fairy tale.

Besides Monaco, we also toured Nice, France. We had been to all these places at least several times in the past but it was very pleasant to see this all again. The entire area seems like something out of a book or movie set.

The dock we were at was just finished in 2002 and we were located in the area straight down from the casino. There were two Holland America ships there also. I think they were too large to use the dock and that is why we got to use it while they tendered people up and back all day.
